In response to a question from a CGTN reporter, Santiago Esteves, director of the film "The Reborn," which is in the main competition of the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival, said: "I've witnessed truly robust growth – today's Chinese cinema feels both more prolific and increasingly captivating. Seeing China's film market expand continuously from 2000 through 2025 reaffirms its vitality. Now I'm seeing more and more Chinese films, and they're becoming increasingly appealing."
