The shift by the Chinese animation industry from outsourcing to original content is impressive, said Lise Fearnley, a jury member at this year's Shanghai International Film Festival. As a Norwegian animation producer, she also pointed out the rising global interest in Asian films, and urged Chinese creators to capitalize on this trend.
