On the morning of June 19, Iran launched a major missile attack on Israel. A high-rise building in central Tel Aviv was damaged while Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, southern Israel, suffered heavy impact. Iran denied intentionally targeting the hospital, saying the intended strike was aimed at a nearby Israeli military intelligence facility. Officials said the hospital was affected by the resulting shockwave. The missile barrage also struck areas in Holon in central Israel. According to Israeli reports, at least 65 people were injured, six of whom are in critical condition.
