The conflict between Iran and Israel has entered its seventh day, with no signs of de-escalation. Israel's military announced on Thursday that approximately 20 of its fighter jets conducted a series of "intelligence-driven operations" in western Iran, targeting what it claimed to be surface-to-surface missile sites and Iranian military personnel.
It also said it had targeted a nuclear reactor near Arak and struck what it described as a nuclear weapons development site in the Natanz area. Among Iran's nuclear facilities is a partially built heavy-water research reactor, formerly known as Arak and now referred to as Khondab.
