The black comedy "One Wacky Summer," primarily in the Tianjin dialect, has been shortlisted for the main competition section of the Golden Goblet Award at the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival. Director Cao Baoping teams up with actors such as Guo Qilin and Qi Xi to present absurd stories with distinctive local flavor. Guo Qilin, a native of Tianjin, said that during filming, he and Director Cao discovered a "different Tianjin" together – and through the story and dialect, they guide the audience to experience the city's unique charm.
