Zulal Tursun, a member of the Chinese under-14 national football team from northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, has talked to CGTN Sports Scene's Shen Xiang about chasing his dreams in the sport.
Zulal's football career began on the streets of Kashgar, and it took him four years to join the U14 national team after overcoming a series of difficulties, including his parents not initially supporting his sporting pursuits, as well as a change of position from goalkeeper to defender.
The 14-year-old revealed that his goal is to join the national team at higher level in the future and make China proud on the pitch.
