World Anti-Doping Agency Vice President Yang Yang talked to CGTN Sports Scene's Greg Laffradi about the organization's opposition to the controversial Enhanced Games, making it clear that WADA's resistance is based on protecting both the health of athletes and the values of the Olympic Movement.
Yang pointed that out that multiple cases of athletes passing away after using performance-enhancing drugs and other banned substances prove how dangerous the Enhanced Games can be, as the event's organizers plan to allow participants to take drugs.
China's first Winter Olympics gold medalist added that she supports other organizations in slamming the event, saying that sending the right message to athletes and youngsters is simply too important.
