Art, poetry and cross-cultural connections took center stage at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). The "Encountering Latvia" pop-up exhibition, co-hosted by the Latvian Embassy and BFSU, showcased stunning marker sketches of Riga by Chinese artist Zhang Hongge – capturing Latvia's charm through her unique lens.
Adding to the magic, BFSU's Latvian language students recited bilingual poetry, blending verses from Chinese legends like Du Fu and Su Shi with works by Latvian poet Janis Rokpelnis. A true celebration of shared artistic spirit!
