Since June 16, Turkmenistan has kept its borders with Iran open to assist with the evacuation of foreign nationals amid the escalating Israel-Iran conflict. By June 19, a total of 845 people from 22 countries, including China, had entered Turkmenistan via border checkpoints. An additional 1,691 evacuees from 18 countries are expected to cross in the coming days.
