The Hot and Spicy Festival lit up Beijing over the past weekend. This edition of the event, themed "Global Spicy Cuisine," featured nearly 50 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions, offering 140 varieties of spicy snacks and over 40 specialty drinks – showcasing a full range of both Chinese and international flavors. One of the highlights was the Chili Pepper Eating Competition, where contestants from the United States, Germany, Mexico, Thailand, as well as China's Hunan and Sichuan provinces and beyond took the stage. The intense face-off drew loud cheers, displaying fiery passion and an international flair. Beyond the culinary excitement, the event also included family-friendly activities, live music performances, and other engaging content.
