Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday the U.S. attacks on the country's three nuclear facilities indicated that the United States is the "main factor" behind Israel's hostile actions against Iran.

The U.S. military's strikes on Iran's nuclear sites were not a preamble to plans for "regime change," U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Sunday, adding that private messages had been sent to Tehran encouraging them to negotiate.

The International Atomic Energy Agency will hold an emergency meeting of its Board of Governors on Monday in light of the situation in Iran.
