Friday marked World Refugee Day. In an interview with CGTN, Melissa Fleming, UN under-secretary-general for global communications, also former head of global communications for the UNHCR, warned against escalation between Israel and Iran. She described Gaza's humanitarian crisis as "unspeakable," with civilians trapped and starving. Fleming also urged a return to diplomacy, stressing that the world cannot absorb yet another war.
