People in New York City took part in a protest on June 21 in support of Iran and Palestine. CGTN Stringer interviewed people about their take on the U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict. Joanne, a local retiree, said that the U.S. should stop arming Israel for its war in the Middle East and that they should rein in Israel. Meanwhile, Julia, a local teacher, thinks most Americans are against the U.S. involvement in any wars and that Iran has the strength to defend itself.
