China has strongly condemned the U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, calling them a violation of the international law and Iran's sovereignty. At an emergency session of the United Nations Security Council on Sunday, Fu Cong, China's permanent representative to the UN, said the attacks have destabilized the region and undermined the nuclear non-proliferation regime. He urged the international community to "uphold justice, make concrete efforts and restore peace and stability."
