Fu Cong, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, condemned the U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, saying the facilities were under International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards. He said the action violated international law and severely damaged the global non-proliferation regime. The U.S. had undermined its own credibility as a nation and as a negotiating partner, he added.
