U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that Israel and Iran have reached a formal agreement to implement a complete and total ceasefire, marking what he called the end of the "12-Day War."
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there's no agreement on a ceasefire, but Tehran will halt attacks if Israel stops its "illegal aggression" by 4 a.m. local time (0030 GMT).
Tehran was targeted with heavy strikes until 4 a.m., the deadline given by Iran for Israel to stop its attacks. Shortly after the deadline, the Israel Defense Forces said sirens were sounding in Israel after missiles were launched from Iran.
