A section of the Houzi River Bridge on the G76 Xiarong Expressway in southwest China's Guizhou Province collapsed on Tuesday. The collapse was triggered by a landslide caused by incessant rainfall. Authorities in Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture responded immediately, dispatching 23 vehicles and 89 personnel to the scene. No casualties were reported and rescue teams are assessing the damage caused.
