China rallied from behind twice to snatch a late 3-2 victory against hosts Germany for their second straight victory at the FIH Pro League on Tuesday after beating Argentina on Sunday.
The Germans took the lead in the 10th minute as Lisa Nolte fired a flat reverse stick pass across the circle that Johanna Hachenberg deflected in at the near post. China fought their way back in the second quarter, and Huang Haiyan's goal in the 25th minute made it 1-1.
Lilly Stoffelsma slapped low into the bottom corner to give Germany a 2-1 lead on the stroke of halftime. However, Dan Wen equalized again for China in the 39th minute. She created a shot from the top of the circle under pressure, but it took a lucky deflection off a defender as the ball looked to be going well wide.
The winner came from Tan Jintong in the 57th minute whose drag flick sealed the 3-2 win for China. After 13 matches in the Pro League, China are in fourth place with 22 points.
