Professor Li Cheng, a senior researcher on China-U.S. relations and the founding director of the Centre on Contemporary China and the World (CCCW) at the University of Hong Kong, told CGTN during the Summer Davos in north China's Tianjin Municipality that China is prepared for the trade war waged by the U.S., and such a war initiated by the U.S. against the world was alienating American allies.
