A magnitude-4.5 earthquake hit Gongxian County of Yibin City in southwest China's Sichuan Province at 3:17 p.m. local time on Wednesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. 

The epicenter was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers. There have been no immediate reports about casualties or damage caused by the quake.
