CMG marks 55 years of China-Italy diplomatic ties in Rome

China Media Group (CMG) hosted a cultural exchange event Wednesday in Rome, marking the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Italy.

The ceremony was attended by Shen Haixiong, CMG president and vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee; Giuseppe Valditara, Italian minister of education; Gabriele Gravina, Italian Football Federation (FIGC) president; and Jia Guide, Chinese ambassador to Italy, alongside more than 200 guests from various sectors.

At the event, the 2025 Chinese Film Week was launched, bringing nine outstanding Chinese films to Italian audiences that showcase China's cultural diversity and vitality.
