Live update: Trump says U.S., Iran will hold nuclear talks next week

U.S. President Donald Trump said that the U.S. and Iranian officials will talk next week to continue a dialogue that was interrupted by the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran.

Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei confirmed Wednesday that the country's nuclear facilities were "badly damaged" in the U.S. and Israeli strikes.

Israel's Mossad chief David Barnea said in a video released by the agency on Wednesday that Mossad will continue its activities in Iran.

Iranian health ministry said 627 people were killed and 4,870 injured in Israeli strikes since June 13. In Israel, the Magen David Adom ambulance service confirmed that at least 28 were killed during the conflict.
