The Xiqu Center: A palace of traditional Chinese opera in Hong Kong
Located at the eastern end of the West Kowloon Cultural District, a thriving and vibrant cultural hub, the Xiqu Center is a landmark performing arts venue in Hong Kong with a focus on xiqu, or Chinese opera.
Opened in 2019, the 28,000-square-meter center has offered a rich array of facilities, including a Grand Theater with seating for over 1,000 people, a 200-seat Tea House Theater, four professional rehearsal studios, and a lecture hall.
With its inviting public atrium for relaxation, as well as fine restaurants and cafés, the Xiqu Center offers a serene escape from the city's bustle while celebrating the elegance of traditional Chinese performing arts.
