Galai Village, located in the southeastern part of the Xizang Autonomous Region, is renowned for its vibrant peach blossoms each spring. Dawa Gyaltsen, who welcomed President Xi Jinping in his home four years ago, told CGTN that March and April are the village's busiest months.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Xizang Autonomous Region. President Xi replied to the letter written by villagers recently. In his letter, Xi encouraged residents to protect the natural beauty of the plateau region, enhance the "Peach Blossom Village" brand, and contribute to the construction of a prosperous and stable frontier for China.
