Rongjiang County lifted its highest-level flood emergency response at 10 a.m. on June 29 as the recent round of heavy rainfall came to an end, according to local authorities.

Soldiers are working alongside local rescue teams to carry out post-disaster dredging and disinfection. Relief operations and reconstruction efforts are now underway.
