Trucks carrying medical supplies and food arrived at a warehouse in Gaza on June 26. On the same day, Israel closed the crossings into northern Gaza again, following the circulation of images showing masked men on aid trucks. Clan leaders in Gaza explained that the masked men, some holding sticks, were providing protection to the aid convoy.

A CGTN stringer in Gaza City captured the scene of aid distribution and invited residents to share their thoughts on the current humanitarian situation in the region. During an interview, Gaza resident Ghalia Nuwaij could not hide her emotion as she received aid, explaining that they had not received any assistance for nearly five months. She is a widow raising several orphans, having lost her husband and sons in the ongoing conflict.

Another interviewee, Ahmed Al-Aklouk, expressed gratitude to those who escorted the aid and refuted claims that Hamas had taken control of the supplies.
