Boonchoo – popularly known as Happy – is a Chinese language teacher in Bangkok. Recent years have seen her become much busier, as more and more students have joined her classes. The growing interest in studying Chinese and learning about Chinese civilization are being fueled by the ever-closer economic, cultural and people-to-people ties between China and Thailand and the burgeoning opportunities they are bringing.
