Startups thrive as GBA taps Hong Kong's research edge

As Hong Kong marks 28 years since its return to the motherland, integration with the Greater Bay Area is opening up powerful new possibilities, especially in innovation. At the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), the city's world-class research is joining forces with the mainland's industrial strength and policy support. In just three years, the campus has seen 150 startups launched by students and faculty, more than 70 of them already officially registered companies.
