A landslide triggered by heavy rain caused two rural houses to collapse and severely damaged four others in Pingliu Village in south China's Guangxi on Tuesday morning.
Fortunately, 21 residents from seven households had already been evacuated about 20 minutes before the landslide hit, thanks to officials noticing cracks on the mountainside – thus averting any casualties.
