The 2025 Esports World Cup is set to be the biggest gaming competition of the year, uniting more than 2,000 top-tier players from approximately 200 clubs worldwide.

Hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the event runs from July 8 to August 24, and features 25 esports titles with a $70 million prize pool, making it the largest in the history of the genre.

This year's World Cup will showcase popular titles like League of Legends, Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, VALORANT, and Rocket League, along with chess, which will make its debut in the competition.

With an audience of more than 500 million viewers, and 2.6 million in-person spectators last year, the 2025 Esports World Cup is expected to break even more records this summer.

The competition is tipped to be an electrifying celebration of competitive gaming, featuring live performances, exclusive content, and epic showdowns. Global sporting stars like Cristiano Ronaldo (football) and Magnus Carlsen (chess) are serving as ambassadors for the event.
