China's Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference on Thursday, addressing questions about whether the trade agreement reached between the United States and Vietnam is aimed at China.
Spokesperson He Yongqian said China welcomes all parties to resolve their economic and trade differences with the U.S. through equal consultations, but firmly opposes any party reaching a deal at the expense of China's interests. If such a situation arises, China will resolutely take countermeasures and safeguard its legitimate rights and interests.
