The southern city of Zhuhai has welcomed a group of young people from Taiwan as they kicked off a cross-Strait summer camp. It's part of a nationwide program drawing over 1,800 participants to explore different parts of China. Since 2004, the program has served as a major bridge for cross-Strait youth exchange. The extensive program will cover 30 provinces, cities and regions, getting an up-close view of the mainland's history, cultural heritage and breakthroughs in tech, business and infrastructure.
