Since July 3, heavy rains have triggered landslides and mudslides across Mianyang, southwest China's Sichuan Province. Over 6,500 residents have been safely evacuated, thanks to early warnings and swift government action. In Anzhou District, local teams went door to door to evacuate villagers before disaster struck. Emergency shelters are stocked with food, water and round-the-clock medical care. Road repair and river dredging are underway to restore normalcy.
