A low rainbow recently appeared in the highland barley fields of Shigatse, Xizang Autonomous Region. The low rainbow is a rare occurrence in the realm of rainbows, with extremely demanding formation conditions – it can only appear when the sun is at a critical altitude (close to 42 degrees) and surface water vapor conditions are optimal.
