Senegalese PM: China-Africa cooperation is built on mutual respect, not neo-colonialism

In an exclusive interview with "Leaders Talk," Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko rejected Western claims of "neo-colonialism" in China-Africa relations, saying, "There is one thing Africa can state clearly and firmly: China has never colonized Africa, never waged war against Africa, and has never posed any threat to the continent throughout history." He emphasized that cooperation with China is based on mutual benefit, openness, and sovereignty and criticized some Western narratives as rooted in anxiety over China's rise.
