The 17th BRICS Summit opened on Sunday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The summit centers on six key topics – global health, trade, investment and development financing, climate change response, artificial intelligence governance, reform of the global security architecture, and the strengthening of the BRICS mechanism itself.
