CGTN has invited young people from BRICS countries to share their views on the mechanism to mark the 17th BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on July 6 and 7.

Anna Yuschenko, a Russian student studying at Tsinghua University, said the BRICS mechanism has given the countries of the Global South a stronger and more equal voice. She singled out the New Development Bank, jointly initiated by BRICS countries, as a good example of the organization's achievements. She added that BRICS is an important force in promoting the realization of a multipolar world, noting that decisions are made based on mutual consultation among member countries.
