From studying classical Chinese poetry in high school to discovering Confucian thought during the Chinese Bridge competition, Japanese sinologist Ohori Rio has embarked on a path of exploring Confucian wisdom. Inspired by his inclusive idea of "education for all" and the nuanced humanism found in "The Analects," she now aspires to become an international ambassador of Chinese language and culture – helping young Japanese reconnect with Confucianism as a source of reflection, inner harmony, and personal growth in an era defined by speed and uncertainty.
