At the foot of the Nanshan Mountains in Xinjiang's Urumqi, local man Zhou Cheng blends music with nature to create his ideal lifestyle. At the homestay and campsite he runs, the strumming of folk songs on guitars by the campfire and the rhythmic beats of the handpan drums under the night sky have become the signature sounds.
Visitors from all over the world can experience not only the serenity of the starry skies after a day of hiking but also feel the warmth of these campfire sing-alongs and impromptu late-night jam sessions.
