The 17th BRICS Summit was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from July 6 to 7, 2025. CGTN invited young people from BRICS countries to share their perspectives on the BRICS mechanism. Ahmed Alaa, a rising Egyptian filmmaker and a Gen Z creator, is eager to collaborate with filmmakers from India, China, Brazil and beyond. Through the BRICS cooperation framework, he hopes to produce innovative, cross-cultural films. Additionally, Ahmed advocates for the establishment of a joint organization dedicated to promoting cultural and academic exchanges – empowering young creatives to transcend borders and connect across diverse cultures.
