The music has begun! The 2025 China-U.S. Youth Choir Festival held its opening ceremony in Fuzhou, southeast China's Fujian Province on Thursday. Under the theme "Singing for Peace," the festival brings together around 1,000 Chinese and American participants. A total of 22 youth choirs from both countries are taking part.
The choral week is also one of the largest China-U.S. youth cultural exchange events in recent years. At the opening ceremony, the One Voice Children's Choir and the Fuzhou No. 16 Middle School Yuying Choir performed "Kuliang Kuliang" together.
