China's Chang'e-6 sheds light on evolution of moon's far side

China's Chang'e-6 mission has returned the world's first samples from the moon's far side, helping scientists decode its ancient volcanism, magnetic field, water content and deep mantle. The findings, published in Nature, help explain key differences between the moon's near and far sides.
