A special panel discussion on "Confucian Education for Social Cohesion" was held during the 11th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations in Qufu, Shandong Province. During the session, Jaeyoon Song from the Department of History at McMaster University in Canada discussed how a realistic understanding of human nature has enabled the philosophy of Confucius to last for centuries.
