Golden Threads: 50 Years of China-Thailand Friendship

To mark the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations, CGTN has produced the documentary "Golden Threads: 50 Years of China-Thailand Friendship". A highlight of the program is exclusive coverage of the journey to Thailand by the Buddha's tooth relic kept at Beijing's Lingguang Temple. It also features visits to BYD's state-of-the-art vehicle plant in Thailand and the world's largest hydro-floating solar project, and tells the story of a Thai restaurateur who has spent 26 years preparing authentic Thai food in Southwest China. Ultimately, "Golden Threads: 50 Years of China-Thailand Friendship" demonstrates that in their beliefs, their technological and industrial development, and their people’s hearts, China and Thailand share much in common.
