During the Osaka Expo 2025, our "Messages on Bamboo Slips" activity invited visitors to pen heartfelt wishes on slips inspired by the Pavilion's design. The overwhelming response saw nearly 200 participants from around the world leave touching messages: Expressing hopes for "China-Japan friendship," love for "giant pandas," and aspirations to "promote Sino-Japanese relations through cultural exchange." A slip was also added with the poignant message: "Though mountains and rivers divide us, we share the same moon and sky." This phrase famously appeared on Japanese medical aid shipments to China amid the COVID-19 pandemic. These sincere words deeply moved the Chinese staff, bringing some to tears. Stay tuned for a short video capturing these special moments!
