The Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting kicked off in Beijing on July 10, with a focus on the importance of cultural diversity and mutual learning in advancing human progress.

Themed "Safeguarding Diversity of Human Civilizations for World Peace and Development," the two-day event has attracted over 600 guests from 140 countries and regions.

Chang Lih Kang, Malaysia's minister of science, technology and innovation, said that no one is left behind in today's technological revolution.

"Malaysia firmly believes that it is through mutual respect and mutual learning that we can co-create new pathways for peace, shared prosperity, and collective progress for the benefit of all humanity," he said.
