Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping global dynamics and the educational environment, as well as amplifying diverse voices from the Global South and foster cross-border collaboration, Zhou Qing'an, the dean of the School of Journalism and Communication of Tsinghua University, said on the sideline of the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting in Beijing. 

In education, Zhou said, AI is transforming classrooms into digital spaces, empowering students to create impactful content online. However, this shift also demands teachers to adapt and promote teamwork, Zhou said.
