The Ministerial Meeting on the Global Civilization Dialogue took place on Thursday in Beijing. The high-level opening session featured a unique "Story Sharing" segment. Narrators included Elyn MacInnis from the United States; Kenyan student Jamlick Kariuki from Beijing Jiaotong University; and Simon Lichtenberg, founding chairman of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China. Elyn MacInn is the lead researcher at the Kuliang Tourism and Culture Association. Over the past 100 years, her family has forged profound bonds with China. At the event, she shared stories about people in Kuliang, Fujian province.
