China's first floating solar power project operating in a full seawater environment has started operation. Covering 60,000 square meters with a 7.5 MW capacity, it will produce 16.7 million kWh of green power annually. Its movable floating design keeps panels close to the water, boosting efficiency by 5 to 8 percent through better cooling.
