The Beijing Declaration of the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting was adopted on July 11.
Themed "Safeguarding Diversity of Human Civilizations for World Peace and Development," the two-day event has attracted over 600 guests from 140 countries and regions.
Carlos Gandara, president of the Brazilian Confederation of Photography, introduced Brazil's living diversity. He highlighted that Brazilian people believe that photography has a universal language, as it needs no translation. "We use this power that the confederation has – to have its members, its photographers, record all of that."
